Other Documents

The following will also need to be submitted to complete the application process:

  • Official transcript(s) from each college/university or professional school attended. Student issued copies may suffice, pending official transcripts.
  • Two letters of recommendation from college/university professors or physicians who have supervised you in a medically relevant setting. Evaluations from a college pre-medical committee are accepted in lieu of individual letters. Please use the Letter of Recommendation form to obtain these letters.
  • Two (2" X 2") color, passport-size photos.
  • The MCAT is requested of North American resident students. Admitted students are to submit their test results prior to enrolling into Medical University of the Americas. The Admissions Committee at Medical University of the Americas will use MCAT scores to assist in the admissions decision, but does not base decisions solely on MCAT scores. There is no minimum score below which an application is automatically rejected.

The MCAT is offered online multiple times per year. Information on the MCAT testing dates is available at www.aamc.org.
