An honours graduate in Biochemistry from Canada’s Brock University, Oluseyi (Sheyi) Ogundimu focused first on getting an MBA before deciding to take the plunge and realize his dream of becoming a physician. Today, this 2008 graduate of Medical University of the Americas is a board certified anesthesiologist practicing in the St. Louis area.
Oluseyi developed an interest in anesthesiology during his clinical rotations. An outstanding student, he was the valedictorian of his MUA class receiving both the Dean of Basic Science and Dean of Clinical Science awards. Upon graduation, he matched into an anesthesiology residency at the University of Buffalo and rose to become the Chief Resident in Anesthesiology.He left to pursue a one year fellowship in Pain Management at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and is currently an Anesthesiologist/Pain Physician in St. Louis, specializing in interventional pain procedures.“I am really grateful for MUA.
