Biography:

Dr. Das had completed M.D; General Medicine from Belarus, Minsk in 1992 and

M.D; Medical/Human Physiology in 1996 from All India Institute of Medical

Sciences, New Delhi, India in 1996. The title of his M.D. thesis was “Lifestyle Changes Cardio- Pulmonary Efficiency”.

He was awarded a scholarship to pursue W.H.O. Fellowship in Neuro-Physiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in 1998.

He started teaching Medical Physiology at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal in 1996. Thereafter, his academic career continued in the capacity of Assistant, Associate and Professor of Physiology in many Medical Colleges of Nepal, China (Thaishan Medical University, Tai An.), Mauritius (D.Y. Patil Medical College & SSR Medical College), Anguilla (St James School of Medicine) and Dominica (All Saints University Medical School) since last 27 years. Dr. Das is trained in conduction of Problem Based Learning (PBL). He had been appointed as External and Internal Examiners for Professional University Examinations of M.B.B.S; B.D.S. and M.D. (Medical Physiology) courses by the many universities of Nepal and Mauritius.

    • He was felicitated by the Vice- Chancellor of Kathmandu University, Nepal in the First Annual Conference of Physiology and Applied Sciences, 2013 for two decades of academic contribution in Physiology and research.

He had published research papers in the fields of Industrial Dusts and Pulmonary Function Test, Lifestyle Change Program and Yoga, Blood Group Distribution and Medical Education.
