ISP Partnership Agreement

Education agreement with International Schools Partnership benefits aspiring medical doctors and future healthcare leaders from around the world.

Medical University of the Americas (MUA) and International Schools Partnership Limited (ISP), a network of international schools operating across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region, are excited to highlight their new medical education partnership.

In support of aspiring physicians who wish to pursue their Doctor of Medicine degrees, this pathway will provide eligible ISP graduates with direct entry* into either of the following two MUA pre-med programs, which both grant a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science degree and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

5-Year BSc/MD Program (3 pre-med semesters and 10 MD semesters)

Applicable to students completing qualifications such as A-Levels, International Baccalaureate (IB) or their equivalent. Students must have studied three science-focused subjects, including Chemistry, Biology, and either Mathematics or Physics.

6-Year BSc/MD Program (6 pre-med semesters and 10 MD semesters)

Applicable to students completing high school-level qualifications such as GCSEs/IGCSEs, high school diplomas, O-Levels or equivalent. Students must have achieved B grades in at least five subjects at the O-Level or equivalent.

Excitingly, qualified ISP graduates will also benefit from MD program financial support via the $5,000 USD Partnership Pathway Scholarship, $25,000 USD International Scholarship and $5,000 USD Opportunity Grant!

Jo Fretwell, ISP Head of Learning Partnerships commented on the new partnership: “At ISP, we’re always looking to connect our students with meaningful, future-focused opportunities, and this new partnership with MUA does exactly that. With a clear, supportive pathway into medicine and global healthcare careers, this collaboration reflects our commitment to helping students unlock their potential and pursue their aspirations with confidence.”

“We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with ISP, a global network of schools committed to academic excellence and student growth,” said Sucharitha Konda, Business Development Coordinator for MUA. “Together, we’re opening doors for aspiring healthcare professionals to take their first steps toward meaningful medical careers.”

MUA students receive a comprehensive medical education rooted in our commitment to delivering individualized support and hands-on learning experiences. MD and pre-med program participants receive consistent access to our dedicated faculty members, academic help through our Student Support Services, and personal guidance from mentors and advisors, helping them quickly get comfortable in medical school and progress towards meeting their goals. MD program participants also benefit from undertaking their Clinical Medicine rotations at affiliated teaching hospitals, clinical and medical centers in the U.S., and select elective rotation sites in Canada. MUA graduates go on to earn North American residency placements at high rates and practice in the U.S., Canada and internationally.
