United Kingdom Colleges Partnership Agreement

New pathway agreement with two colleges in the U.K. will benefit the future of international healthcare.

Medical University of the Americas (MUA) is proud to partner with the following two colleges in the United Kingdom to enrich the educational journey of aspiring international physicians.

Thanks to this agreement, eligible graduates from the University Foundation Programme – Medicine Pathway at either institution will earn direct entry* into MUA’s 5-Year BSc/MD Program. Importantly, successful participants must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale (75%) or equivalent.

This MUA pre-med to MD pathway is a 1+4 accelerated medical education program. The 3-semester (1-year) pre-medical curriculum is offered on-campus or online, including asynchronously, to accommodate students from different timezones. Students who successfully complete the pre-med program then proceed into the 10-semester (4-year) MD program.

Excitingly, successful participants will earn both a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science degree and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in five years.

“This new partnership between Medical University of the Americas and our two U.K. colleges, David Game College London Campus and Bath Academy, marks an important milestone in expanding access to global medical education,” shared Theo Theodorou, Director of Partnerships, Collaborations & Transnational Education (TNE) at David Game College. “Together, we are creating a clear, high-quality pathway for talented international students to pursue their dream of becoming medical professionals. By combining strong academic foundations in the U.K. with MUA’s world-class clinical training, we are helping shape the next generation of globally minded healthcare leaders.”

“We are so proud to announce this new partnership with David Game College London Campus and Bath Academy – a collaboration dedicated to expanding academic success and international opportunity, and supporting the next generation of healthcare leaders,” added Sucharitha Konda, Business Development Coordinator for MUA.

MUA is committed to supporting the next generation of practicing physicians by offering notably cost-effective tuition and administrative fee rates, as well as helpful grants and scholarships. Students also benefit from our focus on delivering early hands-on training, dedicated faculty, extensive Student Support Services, and Clinical Medicine rotations in the U.S. (core and electives) and Canada (select electives).

We look forward to welcoming eligible University Foundation Programme – Medicine Pathway graduates to Nevis for Basic Science and seeing everything they will accomplish in international healthcare settings!

*To receive direct entry, University Foundation Programme graduates must submit an application, submit high school transcript(s), satisfactorily complete an interview with the MUA admissions team, provide two letters of recommendation and submit a personal statement.
