Medicine4Youth Canada Partnership Agreement

Unique partnership with medical non-profit organization benefits aspiring physicians in Canada.

Medical University of the Americas (MUA) and Medicine4Youth Canada (Medicine4Youth), a Canadian non-profit organization comprised of university chapters that support and inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders, are pleased to share their innovative new partnership.

As part of the agreement, MUA will award the Maple Leaf Grant ($500 USD) to each chapter in Canada, sponsor certain Medicine4Youth events, collaborate on information sessions, and provide other support when possible. Medicine4Youth members who plan to pursue a medical school education will benefit greatly from learning about the MUA MD program, connecting with admissions experts, and experiencing the programmatic and financial support delivered via the partnership!

Anita Alizadeh and Hanvitha Bosigari, Presidents of Medicine4Youth, shared: “We at Medicine4Youth are thrilled to partner with Global University Systems (GUS). This collaboration will open new doors for our enthusiastic pre-med community, providing them with invaluable opportunities to advance their medical education and gain global perspectives in healthcare beyond the traditional routes available. Together, we can empower the next generation of physicians to serve communities with skill, compassion and cultural understanding.”

“At Medical University of the Americas, we believe in empowering future physicians through meaningful partnerships,” said Gulce Kaya, Director of Admissions and Operations for MUA. “Our collaboration with Medicine4Youth Canada highlights our shared dedication to supporting the ambitions of Canadian students by offering access to educational resources, expert guidance and financial opportunities that can help them plan their medical journeys with greater confidence and clarity.”

Founded in 1998, MUA has helped 1,800+ students achieve their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees. We consistently provide future physicians with the expansive medical education and individualized support they need to achieve their dreams of a career in medicine. As part of this commitment, we also offer four pre-med pathway programs – the Pre-Medical Master’s, 5-year BSc/MD, 6-year BSc/MD and Gateway – which help people with different knowledge levels begin their MD journeys. Located on the lovely and secure island of Nevis, MUA is accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM).

Notably, this agreement has been established between Medicine4Youth and all three GUS Medical Schools – Saba University School of Medicine, Medical University of the Americas and St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine.
